The Civic Joy Corps
Civic Joy Corps is a vibrant monthly community beautification initiative: every month, we bring passionate volunteers together to help transform public spaces across San Francisco and uplift different neighborhoods, fostering a sense of unity and pride.
We celebrate our collective efforts with a free brunch, providing the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow volunteers. In the past, we’ve tackled some huge projects, including restoration of Golden Gate Park, multiple Tenderloin clean ups, and planting trees all over the Sunset.
You can join us most Saturdays to get your hands dirty and have a positive impact on public spaces around our beautiful city.
This year, we’re choosing a new park every month to show some love through the end of the year, starting with Golden Gate Park this July!
July - Arguello Stub near Kezar Triangle
August - Visitacion Valley Greenway
September - Strawberry Hill in Heron’s Head Lake
October - Golden Gate Heights
November - Buena Vista Park
December - TBD!
